Clean rooms, breathtaking balcony views, friendly and cooperative all women staff, beautiful environment. Good for exploring Sri Lankan mountains, teafields, and nature. Great location near Adams Peak and Elle Laxapana waterfall. Tasty, fresh, and personalized meals. Comfortable room with two king sized beds. Personal attention from manager. Late dinner and warm welcome provided even on arrival late at night. Delicious breakfast and personal tour by owner's mother. Great choice for visiting Adams Peak.

The view from this hotel is amazing, with a beautiful lake just outside the rooms and a breathtaking view of Adams Peak. The location is perfect for both hiking in the tea fields and taking a short ride to Adams Peak. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The breakfast provided after climbing Adams Peak was perfect and they even gave us extra toast and eggs. I highly recommend taking a walk around the hotel and enjoying the wonderful location.
All was perfect during our stay at this hotel.

The stunning view from the balcony was breathtaking and worth paying extra for. The owner was incredibly friendly and provided helpful advice. Being located a drive away from the famous Adams Peak avoided staying in the busy town.
The food and drink prices were high compared to local places nearby. The exterior of the building needed some work and lacked the same attention to detail as the interior.

This hotel had a fantastic location close to the lake. The staff were friendly and provided basic amenities in the rooms. The breakfast was great and provided value for money. I loved the view from my balcony, just like the reviews said.
The cleanliness could be improved, but that didn't really bother me.

During my recent stay at Butterfly Mountain Lake Side, I had the pleasure of witnessing the breathtaking view of Adam's Peak from the private terrace. The staff's organization and assistance in arranging a tuktuk for our early morning hike was exceptional. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, with the added bonus of extra toast and eggs. The family running the establishment was welcoming and their tastefully selected furniture added to the overall charm. Additionally, the easy accessibility to the property from Hatton train station via bus was a plus.
While the location itself was beautiful, I was disappointed by the amount of plastic pollution in the nearby walks. Moreover, the town lacked a variety of dining options, but this was easily overlooked as I thoroughly enjoyed the host's incredible cooking.

The location offers magnificent views of the nearby lake. the room was quite clean and the bathroom facilities were in good condition. the owners were very warm and welcoming. It was a pleasure to interact with such friendly staff. the nearby village has a diverse mix of religious influences making the location even more interesting to explore.
This hotel was incredibly overpriced for what was offered. the room was very basic and lacked even some of the most basic facilities such as shampoo or shower gel.
